Do I need usage credits and what are they?
Usage credits only apply if you're using the LLM AI Charts or User Feedback Capture visuals. These two visuals connect to our services to work their magic, so usage credits offset our cloud cost, which can vary depending on how much customers use them.
Can I try LLM AI Charts without buying or creating an account?
Yes — LLM AI Charts has a freemium trial mode that requires no account and no payment. Each freemium visual instance gets a per-instance usage budget (a finite number of credits). Once an instance's budget is exhausted, you'd either start a fresh instance in another report or move to a paid license. Freemium is intended for evaluation; for sustained use, an organizational license or BYO connection is recommended.
What is "Bring-Your-Own" (BYO) mode for LLM AI Charts?
BYO lets you configure the visual to use your own API key against your own provider account (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI). In BYO mode, prompts and outputs flow directly to your provider under your contract with them, and you pay your provider for tokens consumed. We charge a small flat per-request operating fee from your BIC credit balance (your provider handles the actual LLM cost).
What happens when I have a license that expires?
You will revert to the same state you'd be in if using the visuals for free. This means you'll start seeing watermarks outside of Power BI Desktop.
I'd like to extend my organizational license, before it expires. How can I do that?
You can purchase a new organizational license at any time, starting from the Buy page. Any new key will extend your existing license period - no days are lost by purchasing early. A reminder email can be sent to you before your license expires, if you have an account with us.
Can I purchase using a purchase order (PO) instead of a credit card?
It's generally possible, but there are some restrictions and limitations. Contact us directly to discuss purchase order options.
