# RegiaBI

> RegiaBI makes AI Data Components: interactive charts and maps, such as a bivariate map with its two-way key or a what-if projection with its controls inside the chart, delivered for Power BI, Excel, Fabric Apps and the web with selection and cross-filtering already wired. Describe the chart you want, or hand over the data, and RegiaBI fits one to your whole result, not a sample, and returns it as source code you own. At run time the chart makes no call to RegiaBI and needs no key.

RegiaBI is the engine behind the Power BI visual "LLM AI Charts and Maps for Power BI" and the Excel add-in "LLM AI Charts and Maps for Excel". Developers and coding agents reach the same engine through an MCP server.

- [@bicharts/chart-host on npm](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@bicharts/chart-host): the open-source (Apache-2.0) runtime that hosts a generated chart in a page and handles selection, cross-filtering, sizing and theming.
